Sorcerer Tower Defense Multiplayer and Co-op Guide

Online parties, raid roles, and the etiquette that keeps parties from falling apart.

Multiplayer and Co-op

Sorcerer Tower Defense runs on Roblox online servers with up to 50 players in a lobby. Co-op is optional for Story and Hell, but it becomes the expected norm for Casino, Sukuna Mode, and late-stage Culling Game colonies. This page covers how multiplayer actually works, how to join parties, and what your role should be.

How to join a party

The lobby HUD has a party button. You can create a private party and invite friends, or join a public party from the party finder. Some experienced players run public parties specifically for Heaven and Earth and Casino clears.

For raids specifically:

  1. Open the party menu from the lobby HUD.
  2. Look for open parties tagged with the raid name or mode.
  3. Join before entering the raid — do not try to join mid-wave.
  4. Confirm your loadout matches the party description before queueing.

Roles in a party

A working raid party divides responsibilities:

  • Primary carry — usually Strongest Sorcerer (Awakened) or King Of Curses. Holds the main lane.
  • Secondary carry — a second DPS for multi-path raids or a flex slot for the boss wave.
  • Farm — Sorcerer Agent or equivalent income unit. Keeps upgrades flowing.
  • Support — buffer or slow units (Guitar, Amplifying, Ice Manipulator).
  • Path coverage — for multi-path raids like Casino, a dedicated second-lane unit.

Do not enter a Heaven and Earth party with five primary carries and zero farm. The most common raid failure is economic collapse on wave 20, not insufficient damage.

Party etiquette

  • Do not beg for carries. If your roster cannot hold a lane, go back to Hell 15.
  • Communicate leaks. A fast text ping “path B leaking” lets the second player relocate.
  • Do not steal farm slots. If the party lead calls the farm slot, respect it.
  • Confirm before joining mid-raid. Joining after wave 1 desyncs placement from the party plan.
  • Share tickets. Some parties run ticket exchanges for large shard grinds. Ask before spamming someone else is hosting.

Co-op for Culling Game

Culling Game colonies can be entered solo or with a party. The extraction mechanic (get at least one kill before leaving) means party members can revive each other’s failed runs. A coordinated two-person Culling party can push further than two solo attempts because the second player can pick up fragment drops while the first extracts.

For Culling specifically:

  • Agree on an extraction strategy before entering. Both players need at least one kill.
  • Do not open orbs until both players have confirmed contracts are funded.
  • Justice Contract (10,000 Culling Points plus fragments) is easier to fund in a party because point-sharing events occasionally fire.

Co-op for Casino

Casino is the raid where co-op changes the difficulty most dramatically. One player holds the primary path, the second covers the secondary corridor. Without that division, solo players must choose which path to abandon.

The Casino Guide has the loadout breakdown. This page is the social layer — confirm who is covering which path before wave 1 starts.

Finding consistent partners

The links hub points to the official Discord. Experienced players use Discord LFG channels for Heaven and Earth shard grinds and Casino material runs. Build a shortlist of reliable partners rather than relying on random public parties for the long grinds.

When to solo instead

Not every mode needs a party. Story, Hell, Endless, and early Culling Game colonies are soloable with the right loadout. Raids (Heaven and Earth, Casino, Sukuna) benefit most from co-op, but solo clears are possible with Awakened Gojo and disciplined path coverage.

The Getting Started guide covers solo progression. Use co-op to accelerate the parts that are genuinely faster with partners — shard grinds, material raids, and late Culling — not as a replacement for learning the fundamentals.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do I join a raid party?

Open the party menu in the lobby, look for open parties tagged with the raid name, and join before queueing. Do not join mid-wave.

What is the ideal raid party composition?

One primary carry, one farm unit, one buffer or slow, and for multi-path raids like Casino, a second carry for the secondary path.

Can I play Culling Game with friends?

Yes. Coordinated parties can push further because both players extract with loot. Agree on extraction strategy before entering.

Why was I kicked from a party?

Most common reasons: carrying no farm and draining economy, begging for a carry slot without a real loadout, or joining after wave 1 and breaking the placement plan.
